[Yak] Tires and tools

Most times, I need the lever only for removal. Most tires, including
the Schwalbe Marathons I currently use, will fit back on the rim
without tools. Sure saves wear and tear on the Quick Stick, which
I finally broke last year mounting a no-name tire (after 14 years of
service).
It's tough to beat that degree of simplicity and reliability. That's
what made it so easy to ignore the Speedlever, no doubt (had to
look it up after reading this Yak discussion). The Speedlever
resembles the installation tool for Airfree tires.
I've also noticed the size discrepancies of Continental tires, as
pleased as I am over their quality and value. The last pair I have
used could be removed or installed without using tools (Grand
Prixs for 700C wheels). As interesting as their sizes make
installation, their resistance to puncturing (probably due to their
tight casing weave) will get me to seriously consider them for my
next replacement tire.
