[Yak] Bikes, beds, and vacations

My wife and I have bicycle toured in lots of places.  Our bicycle(s) 
nearly always shared our room in motels or hotels.  Occasionally a hotel 
would lock our bicycles in a storage closet or even a unused dining 
room.  Only once were we not permitted to bring our bicycle into the 
room or building with us.  That was in a small town in Kansas.

As an additional hint for "credit card tourers," you can always ask for 
old rags or damaged towels to clean off your bike.  Every time we have 
asked for some rags, we were given more than we could possibly use.
