[Yak] Crashing, road-rash & post-crash stuff...

Just happened onto a blog or something where you asked the best thing for  
road rash. I can testify that serious road rash is best taken care of by washing 
 thourghly with soep and water, then covering with Nexuss Tega-Derm, don't 
use  any ointment such as neosporin (I swear by this stuff for other uses). The 
Tega  Derm looks almost like Saran wrap.  Wrap a few layers of gauze or  place 
telfa pads over it since it will drain a little. Leave the Tega Derm on  two 
days then wash with saop and water again and this time leave the Tega Derm  on 
4 days, again it will drain, so cover it with something to absorb this stuff. 
 You can change the covering if absorbsion is showing through, but leave the 
Tega  Derm in place. For really severe cases repeat this till well.  My wife 
and  I hit a deer on our motorcycle and had the worst case of road rash I've 
ever  known anyone to have and this worked very well.
