[Yak] Brussels lodging

You will always pay lots for hotels near airports.
I know you say you don't want the hastle of getting
on trains but there is a train station right in Brussels
airport and trains to Brussels are very frequent (about
every 20 mins I think) and cheap.  I think I would
go into Brussels on the train then get in a taxi at the
Centrale Station.

There are reasonable youth hostels in Brussels, at least
one within easy walking from the station.  Brussels also
has a great many quite cheap hotels and Bed and Breakfasts.

I know its not what you wanted to hear but in Europe trains
and buses are a lot better than I find people in the US
often think they are (though I personally find perceptions
of buses in the US to also be distorted and I've never had
a problem with them).
