I have the same problem.  I believe it is primarily from excessive computer
work.  I decided it is the ulnar nerve.  First, I arranged to have an
ergonomic evaluation by the office, which they are willing to do to avoid
workmen's comp claims.  I started wearing a wrist brace, which keeps my
wrist straight, while at the computer.  I have H bars on my Gnu which is
ergonomically better than flat bars.  Also, I plan to get rolfed
asap.  Rolfing cured another pinched nerve I had years ago which could not
be fixed with physical therapy.  Good luck!
