[Yak] Converting my NWT to drop bars

Hi Yaksters,

I purchased my NWT with STI touring bars, thinking that I would grow
to like them. Unfortunately, I'm 500 miles "into" my NWT and I just
got back on my old bike and realized that my old setup just feels
better to me....so I'm trying to figure out what I gotta do to "fix"
it. here are my issues:

1. I have to get splittable drop bars from Bike Friday, or the bike
won't pack well.
2. I've got Avid V-type brakes.
3. I've got the Sram 3x9 dualdrive, so I need index shifting on the
"front derailler" shifter.

My other bike has simple brake levers and bar-end shifters, and I like
the arrangement pretty well. In fact, I would have ordered it had BF
not told me that the bar-ends don't work with the dualdrive.

That seems to leave me with the only option of some sort of STI type
shifter/brakes. From what I recall, I would need to use "travel
agents" on my brakes to make them play well together.

Q1: Are there STI type shifter models anybody can recommend specifically?

Q2: Are there any other options I'm not aware of which would work for
my bike with drop bars?

Thanks,

Barry
