[Yak] potholes

I hit a pothole with my Air Friday in North Pole, Alaska.  (Really!) It cut the tire; would it have cut a larger wheeled tire?  Probably, because the pothole had a sharp edge, but I'll never know - I was on a small wheel.  

The tire was patched with a dollar bill and held for the next 400 miles to Anchorage. Some of the big wheels that were with us had flats along the way, my small ones never flatted again.  I think the relationship between tires and potholes are a matter of luck, not size.
