[Yak] Self catering accommodation

Hi, I hope to be travelling to the Oregon, Washington or Vancouver areas this summer and need some recommendations about self catering accommodation. Preferbly near or on the coast and it will be for 2 or 3 persons. Just an ideal place/base for two weeks so I can explore on my Pocket Rocket. I hate been tied down by hotels and prefer a little bit more freedom.
I will be travelling from the UK and will appreciate any advice you can give me.
