[Yak] Touring on a BF

    Hello,

I am about to begin the process of selecting a BF for a new cycling chapter for me ...unsupported touring. I spoke to Walter at BF who was very helpful and suggested I start by posting a request for information, recommendations and cautions. I plan on doing unsupported touring, primarily in Europe, beginning this summer. I have not yet selected a BF model or accessories. I envision using the best BF I can afford plus one of their integrated trailer set ups. Most of my trips will be in the 3-4 week time frame, averaging between 40-60 miles/per day. I am a pretty experienced cyclist and am comfortable on long distance rides but the Bike Friday world is all new to me. Any thoughts on model, gearing, bike set -up ,trailers, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
