[Yak] ugly bike too

I've had to laugh at the ugly bike. When I received my NWT this past  
summer, it was fire engine red. Never thought about the colour when  
Stephen and I had talked about what options I wanted on the bike. Not  
quite colour blind but certainly not colour aware. However, I realize  
a bright red bike certainly stood out. So I uglified it. I taped as  
much of the frame with black bike tape and overlaid some of that with  
black electrician's tape. The stem for the handle bars needed to be  
replaced and all they had was a dull, dull deep green ... great! All  
of this caused the bike to disappear really. I never locked it in it's  
folded state. But I was paranoidly cautious with two locks. But I  
agree that the weight of the locks tended to put me over the weight  
limit for flying. Ugly is good.
