And the location. Unless the OP is certain he will only ride on the 
roads (leaving out a large number of scenic routes and bike paths), then 
the Stelvio will be too narrow for touring in Europe -- even more so if 
he is carrying panniers.

Yes, that may be, but I still recommend that the OP carefully check and 
double-check both the order as prepared (specs, etc.) and the bike as 
delivered.
