So Urbane Cyclist can handle BFs now! Wonderful!
Urbane is my LBS in downtown Toronto and I find them helpful, friendly and
supportive. I have one of their Urbanite Touring bikes.
I haven't taken my NWT to them yet, because I haven't had a problem since I
received it last summer, (except for a bit of adjustment needed on the front
derailleur when it firsta arrived), but it's great to know they have some
knowledge of BFs if I need them.
I once spotted another BF on the Toronto waterfront trail, and I have met
others who own them on Toronto Bicycle Network rides. Perhaps there are more
than I can guess in our city, but they're all in their suitcases just
waiting to travel.
I tend to ride my Urbanite around town and use the NWT when travelling, but
I am quite sure that the NWT would be fine as my "only" bike. Though with
Toronto winter conditions and salt on the road, I'd probably still ride my
old MTB bike for those slushy months.

BTW, I'm planning to ride the Land's End - John O'Groats route in UK this
July (a supported tour!) so any advice would be appreciated on preparing the
NWT for a two-week tour like this.
