So the tandem was in a Honda ad. Did Honda know that Bike Friday uses
the Toyota just-in-time manufacturing techniques? :-)

Also, I hadn't known that the independent pedaling is available on
all Bike Friday tandems. It's a feature worth publicizing, though it
has been known to be used for slacking off!

The link Lynette gave went to Honda Dreamers TV but not to the same
video. Can anyone help here?

The videos did see gave me a creepy feeling. Some were of a young
woman elevated to a state of mystical ecstasy whenever walking toward
her car or driving it. Probably also intended to elevate male viewers
to a some sort of mystical ecstasy by the sight of the young woman.
Another ad was like the many American men's car fetish ads, with cars
being driven way too fast on roads with no other vehicles, intended
to associate the driving of a car with a sense of power, control and
identity sadly lacking in the lives of men who fall for this kind of stuff.

Mind-warping commercial propaganda, we have to swim upstream against
it constantly in modern society to keep from being swept away.
