[Yak] front or rear rack

Hi Pete,
I've used front panniers, handlebar bag, plus a small rack trunk and
saddle bag on back, for extensive touring. Both my first NWT, and now
my Petite Pocket Crusoe handle beautifully when fully loaded for
touring. The one time, in horrendous cross winds, when I moved my
panniers to the back rack I felt less comfortable about the way it
handled, but that was also true on my old touring Miyata. Having the
weight distributed over the entire wheel base works best for me.

Subject: [Yak] front or rear rack
New to Bike Friday -- I like to tour with only two panniers. I carry
them on the front of my large bike. Does this configuration work
well on the Bike Friday? I have an NWT. I am really wondering if I
should spend the money for a front rack. The bike came with a rear
rack.
Pete
