Feeble car lights?...lol...I guess that's one theory....=-)
Spend 15 mins in a dimly lit room and then get someone to shine the
OB Alien HID at you from 10'-15' away. I'd be interested in how you
reacted to it - especially how easy it was to see the rest of the room.
