[Yak] "add fish"

My riding partner brought his fish scale today so that we could weight
my Pocket Rocket Pro -- it was his idea but I was not adverse to finding
out what it weighs.

We had a bit of trouble with the electronic scale. Reading the
directions didn't help much at first as we kept getting stumped at the
part that said "add fish" -- how were we going to weigh my bike if we
didn't have a fish?

Well, we finally figured out how to do the variable substitution
correctly and came up with 21.5 lbs. or 9.75 kg. That includes MKS
quick-release pedals and my saddle. Not a bad weight I thought, but no
idea how accurate our measurement was -- we then tried to measure his
bike and got 3 oz. as the result; guess we need to add the fish. :-(

BTW, does anyone make rims for Bike Fridays that use the "fancy black"
minimal spokes that are so popular on all would-be racers' bikes today?
(Just thought that that might look nice with a black frame.)
