[Yak] Air Glide folding and packing

Some recent posts regarding fork and rear wheel removal for packing Air
Fridays makes me realize that I don’t understand how these models fold
and pack.

I thought the extra work in packing an Air Friday involved the beam
removal. Do you need to remove the fork and rear wheel for packing in a
suitcase? I seem to recall that in the early days, people could remove
Air Friday forks to get a package small enough to carry on a plane, but
those days are gone and now we have the suitcases for packing.

Is there a quick-fold for Air Fridays? Now that I look closely, I cannot
figure out the rear end of these models. (For reference, I bought a used
New World Tourist from Bike Friday this year.) I think my future dream
ride is an Air Glide, but an easy fold for transporting inside a car is
important to me.

I have been back to the Bike Friday website and YouTube and cannot find
any details regarding folding and packing the Air Fridays.

Thanks in advance,
Fritz Krueger
