Better, yet, does anyone know of any agencies that are doing 
testing/rating of bike locks (in the States)? This seems like a job for 
LAB, for example, or Consumer Reports, or the bike rags.

Here's another combination  (cable surrounded by hardened steel links) 
that sounds good to me, but I have no idea how it compares to others:

And... 'No lock lasted much more than ten minutes against power tools.'
