PS, I always use it in conjuntion with a good Ulock.

And it looks as if the Tikit that was stolen on the UC campus has been
located, after being listed on Craigs list by a person who bought it
at a flea market.

I have a Master "python" lock, which rachets tight, which I can weave
in and out in the bik parts and stationery object. because it can be
pulled tight, it's just that much harder to access.

I've actually locked my bike in the vicinity of the UC campus, so far
   successfully.

      Tom,

Thanks for the good information. I know these things but it really does
help to see them, to have them reinforced enough, to actually get me to put
it into practice! What do they say... "follow through is everything."

Do you have any recommendations on cable locks that would be good to use in
combination with a good u-lock. I always hear how easy cables are cut so I
have really tended to shy away. Didn't know if there were (hopefully) <5lb.
cables that people were using and recommending.

      Thanks again,

      Bob
