[Yak] URGENT Ryanair bike question

I travelled Glasgow to Paris on Ryanair 3 summers ago. My family
and I had one full size bike and two folders. I paid for the full
size bike and as it turned out I also declared the two folders as
bikes too since it was cheaper than the very SERIOUS overweight
charges they would have charged me since I had other luggage.
They were VERY stringent on the weight. Every item was weighed
and several people ahead of me in line paid overweight charges.
(They did however, if memory serves me right, weigh all my
family's bags together and divided by three to calculate the
allowance)
They seemed to specialize in cheap flights for people with little
or no luggage.
Hope this helps....
