When I bought my first Friday, the sales person suggested a Llama  
because I like taking off on side trails when I'm touring.  It was  
overkill & after getting tired of having the heaviest bike on the  
tour,  I eventually bought a Crusoe for guiding bike tours & longer  
commutes of 15-100 miles.  I have always used Primo Comets which are  
a wider tire & they have been sufficient for crushed gravel paths &  
occasional gravel roads.

While my touring hasn't been fully loaded for a number of years, I  
would go with the NWT.
