Wow!  You're a better man than I am, then.  My wife and I actually took our NWTs into Venice, just because it was too expensive to store them at the train station for the duration of our visit. True story! 

Couldn't ride them much, though.  Those *#%! bridges over the gondola canals kept getting in the way!   ;-)
