I already do this with my Bike Friday trailer - I just took a large
plastic crate, drilled holes in it and bolted it on. Very easy. I was
contemplating getting a piece of plywood and making holes in that to do
make a flatbed trailer for different kinds of loads. It works well.
I also have a CarryFreedom city trailer which is almost the same idea
but the frame stands on its own (like a chassis, whereas the GG frame is
like a monocoque - it depends on what its fixed to for its integrity).
I have some interesting issues with different hitches (this one, the
CarryFreedom one and a Burley rear triangle hitch) that I would be keen
to follow up if anyone from whoever is marketing this trailer has the
time to discuss on email.
