Removing the fenders is much faster for me on the Tikit. I only need to remove the front fender, the bike packs with the rear fender in place.
I had to remove the cranks on my NWT (due to not using the 3x7), but that only affects about half of them. That was a major time sink.
My Tikit packs with quick release pedals, but my NWT would not.
The narrower front wheel makes the actual packing into the suitcase faster for my Tikit. The suitcase fit for my NWT was tight, and there were more pieces which required padding. There is very little that is loose and which requires padding in for my Tikit, I think I just put a protector on the seatpost.
My NWT had derailleurs and required derailleur protectors to keep them safe. My current Tikit does not, but even when it did the bike could pack safely without a derailleur protector or uninstalling the derailleur. My NWT had front and rear derailleurs and was best packed with both removed and the chain undone.
