[Yak] Chainring ripping my pants

Get trouser clips or a band. Most bike shops have them.

In a pinch, a velcro strap (maybe available at a hardware store?) can work. I like the clips - they go on and off easy.

Pull the trouser leg forward at the bottom, fold the excess over to the outside, then put on the clip. You're good to go.

For rlling the bike: can you stand on the other side of the bike? (don't know, I don't have a tikit).

Wear black trousers so the chain dirt doesn't show.

For riding: wear socks of stretch material that extend above the ankles. I lke Smartwool or other wool blends for winter --they don't get clammy like cotton. Tuck the touser cuffs into your socks.
