[Yak] What size Model T Tikit for me?

The first poster should DEFINITELY get a large Tikit and probably possibly get the heavy  rider upgrade if you plan on carrying a decent amoung of weight in a backpack. I believe the official upper weight limit of a large Tikit is 230 lbs, but you can confirm that on the webstie.  
 
However, I do also advise calling Bike Friday and talking to them before making the purchase to make I am right.
 
FYI: I am 6'1" and 194 and do carry a lot in my backpack and my standard large Tikit, no heavy rider upgrade,  has been fine. I have checked myself on the scale with full pack, helmet, etc.,  a few times, and get around 215 or 220 fully loaded.  No creaking and groaning with protest from my large Tikit, and mine is the older model with the old seatmast, so my upper limit is more like 220.
