[Yak] Land's End to John O'Groats

Are there any bike Friday owners out there who have cycled from Land's End
to John O'Groats recently?  If you have done this epic ride I'd be
interested in your comments.  I'm wondering about the route, accommodations,
time of year, etc..

At present I'm planning on doing this route with a friend who is a BF owner
as well.  I'd love to talk my wife into doing this trip on our new XL tandem
so if there are any tandem teams who have ridden this route let me know.
