Hmmm... "remote part of the world"... All I can say is that in Austria 
(western Europe, not usually considered "remote") where my trailer 
hitch broke down, I was not able to locate a replacement hose, either 
in the hardware store in the small town where it broke down, or later 
in a Home Depot type store in a larger city. So I wouldn't necessarily 
assume you can find a replacement for this particular part easily.
