I have added two photos to my album on the Shimano Alfine IGH upgrade.

I have rebuilt the wheel using two cross lacing.

The first new photo shows the view from the non drive side of the three
cross lacing and the bend in the spokes as they leave the hub. The first
cross is almost obscured by the hub's flange.

The second new photo shows the completed two cross lacing and the more
relaxed spoke angles. It also opens up the wheel making access to the
valve stem and the oil port easier.

Un-spoking the wheel required me to remove the drive sprocket and it is
very easy to pop off the snap ring holding in position. After
rebuilding the wheel replacing the snap ring took me two hours. The
first time it took three so I must have learnt the knack:). Actually
when it finally went on it was surprisingly easy. Unless something unto
wards happens it should be about two years before the sprocket needs
replacing.
